Privacy notice

The site has three forms: the contact form, the "find me a car" form on each listing, and the sell-your-car request. In every case you decide what to write.

Name and e-mail address: required on all three, because without them we cannot reply.

Phone number: optional on the "find me a car" form, required on the sell request, because appraising a car starts with a phone call.

The message itself, details of the car you are looking for or selling, and anything else you choose to add.

When a form is submitted we store your browser's user agent string and the time of submission.

Your IP address is not stored in readable form: we keep a one-way hash from which the original address cannot be recovered. It exists solely to block automated abuse and form spam.

The site does not use visitor tracking, profiling or automated decision-making.

To answer your enquiry and to prepare the sale or purchase you asked about. The legal basis is the step taken at your request prior to a contract, together with our interest in handling incoming enquiries in an orderly way.

System logs and the hashed IP address rest on our interest in keeping the service secure.

The data is visible to the operator of the site and to the users of its administration area, which is protected by password and Google sign-in and is blocked from search engines.

We use technical providers who handle the data only on our instructions: the hosting provider that runs the site and its database, Resend for delivering notification e-mails, and Cloudflare R2 for storing car photographs.

We do not sell your data, do not pass it on for advertising, and do not share it with third parties beyond the above.

Enquiries are kept until the matter is closed, and for at most two years afterwards so that we can find the history of a returning customer. They are deleted after that.

If you ask for earlier deletion, we delete without undue delay once the request reaches us.

You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to its use, and ask for it in a portable form.

Write to the e-mail address shown on this site. We answer within one month at the latest.

If you believe your rights have been breached you may complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH) or go to court.

By default the site uses only storage that is strictly necessary: remembering your cookie choice, and the sign-in session in the administration area. We do not ask consent for these, because the site would not work without them.

Fonts are served from our own domain, so opening a page sends no request to an external font provider.

TikTok videos first appear only as a preview image that we host ourselves. The player, and with it TikTok's own cookies, load only once you click play.

If visitor measurement is switched on, its script loads only after you accept. If you decline, it never starts, and you can change your mind at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Administration passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, sign-in is additionally protected by Google, and only pre-approved addresses may sign in.

The forms are protected against automated abuse by a rate limit and a hidden trap field.

If any of the above changes, we publish the revised text on this page together with the date of the update.
